  • Nissan has partnered with the Ministry of Sound to develop the Juke Box – a world-class 150dB sound system which fits in a Juke.
  • Nissan SA posted a 4% increase in sales for July 2012 (on June sales), up 17.6% year-on-year and resulting in a 9.2% market share.
  • Nissan will be the official vehicle partner for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
  • Nissan released its 2012 Sustainability Report in August. Nissan President and CEO Carlos Ghosn described the company’s long-term vision as “enriching people’s lives”.
  • The recent partnership between Renault-Nissan and Daimler has resulted in a new engine plant being commissioned to build engines in the US for Infiniti and Mercedes-Benz.
